Intake & Valuation
After our initial contact via WhatsApp, we'll discuss your guitar's condition and rarity. Together, we'll establish a realistic selling price and a price range within which we're willing to trade. We'll also agree on an exclusive period (standard 3 months) during which the guitar will be offered exclusively through GitaarBarbaar.
Presentation & Marketing
Once the guitar arrives with us, we'll prepare it for sale with a fresh setup and new strings. Our photographer will capture every detail for a professional presentation in our webshop and international sales channels. We'll make sure your instrument stands out to serious investors and enthusiasts worldwide.
The Sales & Processing
We handle the negotiations, answer buyers' technical questions, and arrange secure payment. If the guitar isn't sold after the agreed-upon period and you want it returned, we'll charge just €250 to cover the costs incurred (marketing, setup, and storage). So you run absolutely no financial risk of loss.
Payout & Completion
Once the guitar has been delivered and the 30-day return period has passed, we'll process the transaction. You'll receive the full sales price minus our 20% commission. No hassle with administration or aftercare; we'll handle everything for you, down to the last detail.

To maintain our focus and expertise, we currently do not purchase amplifiers, effects pedals, left-handed guitars, or custom-built instruments. We do offer our own line of accessories, such as strings and picks, to complete your guitar experience.

Guitars are precious instruments and deserve a safe journey. Use a sturdy box and fill it with plenty of cushioning material (like bubble wrap or paper) to keep the guitar, and especially the neck, from moving during transport. We value fast trade and immediate certainty. As soon as you register your package at a PostNL point, we'll immediately transfer the 10% deposit . We'll transfer the remaining 90% via iDEAL or bank transfer once we've received and inspected the guitar. If you choose delivery in Eindhoven, we'll arrange full payment on-site.
